Groomsmen's Checklist

Best Man
- Arrange the bachelor dinner and select his gift
- Plan the bachelor party early
- Plan the seating arrangements for the rehearsal and organize
the ushers
- You are responsible for the wedding rings, keep a close eye
on the ring bearer
- Be sure the groom has the marriage license and the officiants
fee paid on the wedding day
- Provide transportation for the groom to the ceremony and from
the reception
- Help the groom on his wedding day (Volunteer to take the couple's
luggage to the checkroom or car, bring groom's after-wedding clothes to the
reception)
- Confirm honeymoon travel arrangements
- Help the groom be on time (most important!)
- Offer a toast at the reception, dance with the bride and her
attendants, read telegrams
Ushers
- Offer assistance to the groom,
- Get fitted for formalwear
- Help with the bachelor party
- Review the seating list
- Get to the ceremony an hour early
- Greet guests and seat them
Groom's Parents
- Give the bride a list of friends and family that you would like
included if there is room
- Give a rehearsal dinner if you want
- Welcome your new daughter-in-law
