 the ringbearer mystery
Author: mikez

We are having a ringbearer in our ceremony (Catholic). Does the ringbearer actually carry the rings on the pillow? If so, how do we get the rings from the pillow?

You can do one of two things: the ringbearer can carry the rings on the pillow or you can have fake rings on the pillow. Depending on the age of the ringbearer, you may not want him or her to carry the actual rings. If not, the best man should keep the bride's ring in his pocket and the maid of honor should have the groom's ring on one of her fingers. Plastic or metal rings are then tied to the pillow for the child to carry. If you want the ringbearer to carry the rings, he/she should walk down the aisle and to the best man. The best man will then untie the rings and place them in his pocket.
