I know of super cheap way to travel in the US - Amtrak! www.amtrak.com updates weekly for certain fares.

We are seeking an inexpensive honeymoon. We are having an extra large wedding and are having to move from TN to Texas and expenses are everywhere. Could you offer some ideas. I myself have been to a lot of places in the US and other parts of the world but my fiance has not. I don't want a honeymoon that is near an amusement part I want something romantic and relaxing. HELP

Why not take a honeymoon to Va Beach. It is beautiful here and the ocean offers tons of romance when it comes to honeymoons. We live here and are getting married here. My fiance proposed to me down by the ocean, that is how romantic it is. And it is inexpensive. Look into it.

The white beaches of Destin, FL
The saguaro-laden hills around Tucson, AZ
A mountain hotel in Colorado
Jekyll Island in GA - not too many people here, nice walks

There are some great deals in Hawaii if you want to travel on a budget. My suggestion would be Oahu and stay in the Waikiki Beach area. If you hate the crowds then either hop on "The Bus" and head up to the North Shore here you'll find some of the most beautiful beaches in the world and not many people. I am getting married in November and i am looking at something inexpensive. We don't want to take a crusie but would like something in a warm climate with a beach, maybe something even inclusive on an island resort. we could spend a one or two thousand dollars.
